The 77th Annual Manchester Road Race

The band ventured out into the cold on Thanksgiving Morning to entertain the over 15,000 participants in the Manchester Road Race. It has been a Manchester Pipe Band tradition to play along the route, as long-time piper Roger Ritchie put it “for at least 35 years.” However, ours isn’t the longest tradition at the race, as local racing legend Amby Burfoot completed his 51st consecutive finish in the race, a new record!

The band would like to thank McCavanaugh Real Estate for the well needed shelter from the cold, and also to all our dedicated members who gave up their Thanksgiving morning!
