St Patrick Season is on!

Last Saturday part of the band was on the street in Hartford for the Greater Hartford St Patrick’s Day Parade. This was the first public event of MPB’s 2011 season. After warming up in the majestic Connecticut State Capitol the band stepped off to cruise on Main Street, Asylum, Ford Street and end at the Memorial Arch in Bushnell Park.
Driven on by a brisk wind and cheers from the crowd packing the sidewalks the band covered the 1 1/2 mile route quickly and in high spirits. Now the season is on, and it’s back to focusing on the preparations for the first contest!
